Technical Project Manager – Client Support & Development Coordination

  • About Us: AgilityIO is a software development firm that designs and builds custom applications for startups and Fortune 500 companies. We are a global team of over 400 developers, QA engineers, project managers, and UX/UI designers with offices in New York City and Vietnam. We’re currently expanding into Latin America and are seeking a Technical Project Manager to support client operations and development coordination across time zones.
  • Job Responsibilities

    • First-Line Technical Support: Provide initial triage and resolution for mobile and web applications during Vietnam team off-hours.
    • Debugging & Troubleshooting: Analyze logs, system errors, and performance metrics to identify and resolve technical issues.
    • Client Technical Advisor: Guide clients on architecture, technical feasibility, and implementation trade-offs.
    • Cross-Team Coordination: Act as a bridge between client and Vietnam development team to ensure smooth handoffs and updates.
    • Project Oversight: Manage timelines, blockers, and deliverables for ongoing development efforts.
    • Agile Delivery: Implement Agile or Scrum processes tailored to distributed teams.
    • Technical Documentation: Maintain troubleshooting guides, process documentation, and escalation paths.
    • Monitoring & Alerts: Develop systems and processes to proactively detect and resolve issues.
    • Client Communication: Present technical updates to client stakeholders in accessible language.
    • Support Coverage: Be available during critical support windows and client emergencies.
  • Qualifications & Experience

    • 5+ years of experience in technical project management roles.
    • 3+ years in technical support, DevOps, or similar debugging-heavy roles.
    • Strong track record working with distributed teams across time zones.
    • Proficiency in developing and debugging within .NET and Azure environments.
    • Experience supporting mobile automation frameworks (e.g., Appium, CodeceptJS).
    • Solid understanding of web technologies including React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
    • Familiarity with Azure services such as Azure Functions, Cosmos DB, and Application Insights.
    • Ability to interpret logs and diagnose API, database, and cloud infrastructure issues.
    • Comfortable with CI/CD tools, Git workflows, and automation practices.
    • Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience managing client-facing projects with technical advisory components.
    • Background in mobile automation, cloud debugging, or DevOps tooling.
    • Experience with TypeScript and Playwright automation tools.
    • Familiarity with Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
    • Ability to work early or late shifts to coordinate with Asia-based teams.
    • Crisis management or high-urgency support experience.
