Senior Full Stack Developer

  • About Us: AgilityIO is a software development firm that designs and builds custom applications for startups and Fortune 500 companies. We are a global team of over 400 developers, QA engineers, project managers, and UX/UI designers with offices in New York City and Vietnam.
  • We are seeking a versatile Senior Full Stack Developer to create intuitive front-end experiences and scalable serverless backend systems. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across the stack, with a strong focus on API integrations and modern web technologies.

  • Job Responsibilities

    • Architect, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using modern frameworks (e.g., TypeScript/React, Node.js, Python)
    • Design and implement scalable backend services with AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, ECS, etc.)
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features
    • Ensure applications meet high standards of performance, responsiveness, and security
    • Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and promote best practices
    • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines; monitor systems for reliability and performance
    • Stay current with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions

  • Qualifications & Experience

    • 5+ years of full-stack development experience
    • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one backend language (Node.js, Python, or C#)
    • Deep knowledge of AWS services and cloud architecture
    • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless architectures
    • Proficiency with modern frontend frameworks (React preferred; Angular or Vue a plus)
    • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices
    • Skilled in Git, testing frameworks, and agile methodologies
    • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external teams in English

  • Preferred Qualifications

    • AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, Developer Associate)
    • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (CDK, Terraform, CloudFormation)
    • Familiarity with DevOps practices and observability tools (e.g., AWS CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus)
